Welcome

Morecambe Ladies and Girls FC is the home of football for females of all ages in the Morecambe and Lancaster district.

Our senior team plays in the North West Women’s Regional Football League, Division One, the sixth tier of English football.

With 10 junior teams playing in either the Poulton and District Primary League or the South Lakes Girls League, we are the biggest and most successful club in the area.

“I love playing football with my team-mates, football has helped me make lots of new friends”

“The football club has been amazing for Abigail. Since being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes we were worried that she would struggle with sports. But thanks to the wonderful coaches, who have put extra effort in, taking on diabetes training, learning how to manage and control her illness, she is able to compete like everybody else. She is absolutely loving her football and being part of the team. It has helped her realise she can do anything she wants in life.”

“Putting my business in front of 100s of potential customers was fantastic marketing, seeing the girls’ faces when they lifted the trophy made it even more worthwhile!”

“I like getting to see my friends every week at training and I like playing matches”

“I absolutely love being involved with Morecambe ladies and girls FC. Throughout the last couple of seasons I have really enjoyed playing for Morecambe ladies first and reserve team, during my time at Morecambe I have gained lots of roles which I really enjoy helping the club! Not only am I involved in playing, our social media team, our girls committee group and being a welfare officer, I coach our U13 blues. My favourite part about being involved with morecambe ladies and girls is being a role model for the girls and being one of four female coaches in the club really does inspire our younger generations! We are one big family and it’s great to be part of!”
